Putting together a Christmas to remember is no easy task with a family the size of the Greenes.

Especially when the woman, who has always planned down to the smallest detail, falls ill just five days before her vacation. The family has no choice but to fight to make sure nothing is wrong. You have to decorate the cookies, assemble the gingerbread houses and hang up the decorations. You’ll need all hands on deck, young and old, to make this holiday a reality. But of course, what would a Greene Christmas be if it weren’t chaotic with a dash of drama?

What a great way to end the Greene Family series but don’t worry we know we’ll all see each other again in May.

What happens when the one who has brought the family together for the last 26 years gets sick? Well, the kids are adults now, and everyone is learning that they need to step up and help keep the traditions alive. We get all the antics you’d expect from family, and since Hank and Marla’s kids are now old enough to be teenagers, it’s always fun to catch up.

The novel takes place 12 years after the end of the Cam & Chevelle book, so these little ones are older now and wreaking havoc of their own, just like their parents did when they were their age. We will witness the preparation of the house for Christmas, the decoration, the gingerbread houses and all the traditions. You never know, maybe a new one or two will be discovered when all the Greens get together.

Fantastic end to this wonderful series. This is twelve years in the future since the last book. With Christmas approaching, Marla, the matriarch of the Greene family, has succumbed to illness and is bedridden. You can’t make all the preparations for the family Christmas reunion. Hank calls the kids for help. They share the traditions in order to be able to make them.

How does Marla manage this on her own? As the kids make the list, we can see all the grandkids that were born, and boy is it a lot: twenty-two! We need to see everyone’s point of view. Really enjoyed this book but sorry for ending this series but maybe not ending a future series with the grandkids.
