A Holly Jilly Christmas is a charming, fast-paced story that was so adorable. With wonderful chemistry, hilarious situations, and characters that were so much more than meets the eye, I was so captivated by this novel. And I loved being back in the world of sheet cakes!
While visiting the small town of Sheet Cake to find a location for their movie studio, Jilly and her unrequited crush and grumpy co-worker Case are stuck in the quirky little town. Sparks and revelations fly between the two in this funny little story.
I love how Emma St. Clair always weaves humor, family, and romance into one story. Even in a short story like this he manages to add those elements. She has without a doubt become one of my favorite contemporary romance novelists. This was really a fun way to spend an hour of the day snuggled up on the couch with a blanket and enjoying an adorable, funny and heartwarming short story!
