I was super excited and surprised to hear about a new missing member of the Winter family. In this unexpected story we meet Sybella Clarke, the new Winter, who is traveling at Christmas time to meet her half-siblings. Along the way, he meets Darkross and they get caught in a snowstorm. Callum is a helpless hero, and his chemistry with Sybella is off the charts. Both are passionate and sweet and a fun addition to the Wicked Winters collection.
I love winter! I was moved to read Sybella’s story. Sybella’s trip to spend Christmas with the Winter family leaves her stranded during a snowstorm. Luckily, Callum, a brooding Scot, saves her. I love the connection they instantly feel and the denial that anything can ever come of it. The story is beautifully written and endearing. It also has some scorching hot scenes. This is the kind of book where it’s hard to find a next book. This book makes you want to read the series again. It can definitely be read on its own, but the series is entertaining with well-written characters and hotter scenes.
Mr Grumpy Scot meets Ms Sunshine Winter. I can resist a grumpy, handsome Scotsman, nobody said. Callum is portrayed perfectly as that type of person and with each page that went by he became more alluring and unsurprisingly the more I fell in love with him. I really liked that this story is pretty much a two person game. Yes, there are other characters that appear, but not in much of the story. Callum and Sybella have a chance to learn, reveal themselves and get closer. A Merry Wicked Winter A perfect Christmas read.
