Hudson just retired from the Navy after twenty years as a Captain and Navy Seal. Natalie designs and sells boats with her business partner Huxley. Hudson is Huxley’s brother. The three of them were best friends growing up.

Actually, Natalie had a crush on Hudson at the time, but he bullied her. Hudson, Huxley and their sister Teresa own the pub which is the family business after the death of their parents. Directed by Theresa. Hudson and Teresa’s journey is a rocky one. This is a story about Hudson adjusting to a normal life after leaving the service and Natalie dealing with a major anxiety she has had for twenty years since her father died.

They help each other achieve both. This story is very realistic as it was close to me because my husband was also in the military. He is very informative and honest. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s a love story from start to finish. I loved it.

When I started reading this book I had no idea what to expect. It was a cute story about a girl who was always in love with her best friend’s older brother. The older brother who is now back in town after spending the last 20 years overseas in the Navy. She was his sprite. He was her hero.

Then the story took a turn I didn’t expect. Hudson, the Navy Seal, had nightmares about his time in the service. They devoured his life more and more. I could not sleep. But he could look at Natalie and see that he cared about her.

Natalie is an amazing boat designer who can’t get over her fear of water or boats since her father died while sailing. Hudson takes her sailing and it looks like she’s finally overcoming that fear.

Hudson’s nightmares only get worse until he finally pushes Natalie away. Here my heart broke. They were so good together. They were happy. But her post-traumatic stress disorder caused her so many internal problems that she forgot that Natalie was suffering too.

You won’t be able to put this book down. You will cry, laugh and finally love the love of sharing.

All For You is a military man romance directed by Weston Parker. It’s a brother’s best friend story with a little twist… the heroine’s best friend since childhood is a boy. This story is completely independent.

Natalie has been Huxley’s best friend since kindergarten. Around the age of 14, she fell in love with Hudson, her older brother, an interest apparently shared by most girls at her high school. It became a moot point when Hudson enlisted right out of high school. Even if he hadn’t, she knew he would never have noticed her anyway, because ordinary nerdy girls were definitely not his type.

Natalie returns home two decades after her split from the military, aware that he’s even more in her league than ever. After 20 years in the Navy, most of it in high-intensity situations as a SEAL, adjusting to civilian life might be one of the biggest challenges Hudson faced. It’s compounded by PTSD and his overwhelming attraction to Natalie. She has a crippling fear of water (despite being a ship designer) and some serious self-esteem issues.

He is terrified of hurting her or anyone else due to the intense nightmares and memories that haunt him. They want to help each other, but he’s afraid he’ll end up hurting her in an unforgivable way.

Hudson and Natalie are multidimensional characters struggling to overcome the tragedies they have endured in their lives. The dialogues between the various characters in the book are consistently effective and not only advance the plot but also reveal a lot about them all. I found the story interesting; kept my interest from start to finish. The main characters grow and change beautifully throughout the story. The secondary characters add dimension to everything. Overall, this was an entertaining story that focused on genuine emotion.
