Paisley and Cameron are a great couple. Though Paisley is hesitant about a relationship, let alone a relationship with a baseball player, her appeal is undeniable. This book has its ups and downs. He broke my heart in a few places, but then he put it back together. Great read!

I love a good sports romance and this fits most part. Sweet Paisley, Easton’s princess from the first book, has grown up. She is now a coach for the Blaze, her beloved team and a home away from home. She feels like she’s living her dream until her love of baseball introduces her to a stranger who she has a crazy connection with. Paisley now realizes that there is definitely more to life then beyond the baseball.
Cameron was the stranger turned baseball player who rocked Paisley’s world. After kissing this beautiful girl at the game, he didn’t know if he would see her again at first. Fate brings them two together and they are inseparable. Cameron came across as bossy, a little overbearing at times, but still loving and protective. He quickly fell in love with Paisley and he knew they would be his. He loved her beyond the game and made sure she knew it.
Unfortunately, every story needs to have a little bit of drama and it can feel unrealistic. The misunderstanding was too profound not to fully confirm what was going on before he reacted. Overall, I loved Cameron and Paisley together. It was sweet to see her parents in a different light. The ending was so cute too. I look forward to reading from the other Monroe sisters.
Lastly, let’s talk about the cover…it’s perfect. Sexy understated. it attracts you
Paisley and Cameron, the two strangers sitting next to the each other at a baseball game. They talk about the game as the kiss cam lands on them and what follows is electrifying. And that’s exactly the bang that was needed to start this romantic journey for her.
Paisley and Cameron connect from hello. The kiss cam kiss was just the icing on the cake. But both walk away when the game is over, with no names or numbers. Fate rolls the dice and these two work together. Cam is the new first baseman for the Blaze Baseball team, while Paisley has just started as the team’s new coach.
I loved everything about this book. Cameron quickly falls in love with Paisley. He wants it all now, but realizes he has to take things at Paisley’s pace. You are young and have the life ahead of you.
The parallels between Paisley’s story and the mother Larissa were so well done. But I was here for everything! Also while on the Easton Monroe theme – he’s playing his role as the castle’s keeper to the next level of dadness. It was perfect and fun and I loved everything!
Beyond the Game was a great read and I’m excited to see what comes next in this series
