The powerful sequel to the award-winning New York Times bestseller Legendborn, perfect for fans of Cassandra Clare and Margaret Rogerson!

The shadows have been lifted and the line is law.

All Bree wanted was to find out the truth behind her mother’s death. So he infiltrated the Legendborn Order, a secret society descended from the knights of King Arthur, only to discover his own ancient power. Now Bree has become someone new:

A half of. A craftsman of blood. A sprout.

But the ancient war between the Demons and the Order reaches a deadly climax. And Nick, the legendary boy Bree fell in love with, has been kidnapped.

Bree wants to fight, but the regents who rule the order won’t let her. To them she is an unknown girl of untold power, and as the living anchor of the spell that preserves the Legendborn Cycle, she must be protected.

When the Regents reveal they will do whatever it takes to cover up the war, Bree and her friends are forced to flee to save Nick. But enemies are everywhere, Bree’s powers are unpredictable and dangerous, and she cannot escape her growing attraction to Selwyn, the wizard who has sworn to protect Nick to the death.

If Bree has any hope of saving herself and the people she loves, she must learn to harness her powers from the ancestors who first used them, without losing herself in the process.

Legendborn Manic Syndrome is BACK for this all-star sequel!!

Oh wow, Tracy really took us on a TRIP with Bree in Bloodmarked. I love how the book picks up right after the end of the first book.

I immediately think of new characters that I found funny or wanted to strangle!

Watching the students in society and Bree suffer even greater pain from the loss of friends and members in Book 1, while at the same time Bree tries to figure out how to take on this new role that she has.

I loved William in it from the start. We could see a lot of her caring yet stern nature as she also quietly moved through her own pain. He is a great friend of Bree’s and I love him very much.

Alicia! MY GIRL!! THEY REALLY SAID I BRING ALL THE FRIENDSHIP VIBES AND JOKES!! Honestly, I’d go for a side story that just has Bree and Alice hanging out or having a girls’ day.

Selwyn, it’s no wonder you find ways to be agile AND daring as hell in Bloodmarked. I want you to have a more relaxed tea with William. His role in Bloodmarked really showed me more of his vulnerabilities and insecurities despite being the most powerful in this group right now. I think he’s still moody as hell, but hey! I can’t say he’s not true to himself.

Nick!! Ah, that’s baby, right there! Although he wasn’t in it as much as I would have liked, I know I’ll get my licks back in the future book… true… but the moments where we always stood out the most have and we are quite unforgettable.

Bree!! Beautiful beautiful young lady on the mend. In his eyes, reviewing this book with his friends was not only super appealing, but also very exhausting. I mean this girl can’t take a break! I BLAST AND BLAST WITH HER!! The way she handled situations while being stubborn still came from trying to help a friend or someone else. She really has a heart of gold.

In terms of power and strength, he definitely pushed himself to the limit while still feeling like he wasn’t doing enough. Her constant doubts and insecurities about her abilities definitely got me feeling because she has this heavy expectation of basically being able to keep up with all the other born-of-legends who have been training their whole lives while being a was a few months old.

The romance… I’m a Breenick Stan and I know you see Sel on this cover. I’m really not a fan of love triangles, okay! I ate all the Breenick crumbs they gave me and now I’m chewing on the plate Tracy! And I definitely see how the moments between Bree and Sel could influence each other, but I wasn’t overly moved by it. I liked that Sel was nicer to Bree LOL

The way Arthur and Bree’s Rootcraft ancestors, like Vera, try to guide or really push Bree in the direction they’re supposed to go is definitely a lot for a teenager who’s still going through all of their other stressors .

There were things in the book that I could see coming while other things I couldn’t see at all and I was like oh WOW.

Overall I really enjoyed Bloodmarked book. I’m so excited to see how Bree’s journey continues and how she navigates these very corrupt magical systems.
