Duke has always been like a big brother to me…a big brother with abs of steel, a heart of gold, and those dimples that double my heartbeat when he smiles.

As far as Duke is concerned, I will always be Chris’s little sister, his best friend, the girl who dipped his Darth Vader action figure in Elmer’s glue and glitter.

Even if Duke noticed me, it wouldn’t matter. I’m so taboo he might as well wear an outfit made entirely out of police tape. We both know that if Chris ever wanted more than friendship with me, he’d hire a special tactical team to hunt down Duke.

I’m glad I got over Duke. One hundred percent free of attractions, that’s me. Well, mostly…until I accidentally send him one of my usual encrypted messages (thanks, autocorrect)…and he thinks I’m hitting on him.

I am embarrassed enough to consider moving to a place as dark as Greenland for a moment. I can now never show my face around town again. I buy a parka and an ice ax and learn to love fish. A lot of.

But then Duke responds to my text messages…
I’m dreaming? He is not angry. He doesn’t even make the fun of me.
In fact, he looks like he’s flirting

I guess he might not have completely gotten over this crush after all.

Shannon is the younger sister of Duke’s best friend and is strictly taboo. While her friend Chris is overseas with the army, she asks Duke to keep an eye on her sister. Little does Chris know that Duke has always had a crush on Shannon. Shannon has been in love with her brother’s best friend for as long as she can remember. Chris will be home soon, just as Duke and Shannon begin to process their feelings for each other.

Censorshipped is book four of the Getting Shipped! Series. It can be read as a stand-alone book, but I would recommend reading the rest of this sweet series. Most of the prominent characters from the other books appear in this episode.

Censorshipped is the romance of a cute brother’s best friend. Despite many longings, the book is not afraid. There’s a lot of kissing (not too descriptive), but this is a clean romance, so there’s nothing spicy about it. There are also no swear words that I can remember.

While there is some drama towards the end, I would have liked to see the “conflict” go on a bit longer. His concerns were largely unfounded and easily dismissed. I also didn’t like the fact that Duke broke up with his relationship/girlfriend in hopes of going after Shannon.

Overall, Censorshipped is a great addition to Getting Shipped. Series. I really adore all the characters in this series, especially the nosy old ladies. I can’t wait to see where the author takes this series next.
