When he talks about weapons, he goes into detail that an ammunition dealer would go into. In this novel, we see the operators using the Knights Armament M110 sniper system. He tells you it’s for the best because he did the homework. It is facts like these that the master storyteller weaves into his books that fascinate many readers, myself included.
