If only there was a way to get into this book and claim Calix as my own (not that I would change anything because that man only has eyes for Thalia but a girl can dream)

This story grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go until the last page (and even then it’s debatable). It’s the perfect blend of warmth and heart, seamlessly woven into a dark and brutal world that I can’t get enough of.

Calix takes the saying “man with a plan” to a whole new level. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do to get back what’s his. He is here to reclaim his throne and the woman who should always be his queen. Calix is ​​truly a force to be reckoned with. Ruthless and calculating and so deliciously hot and controlled. And the things this man does for his wife (and for his wife) are beyond impressive (and drooling).

Even when he comes back into her life, it’s evident that he put effort and care into creating a world for Thalia to truly enjoy. It may seem like a gilded cage at first, but deep inside, Thalia is truly freer than ever. (Of course, freedom has some limitations, and good luck to any man foolish enough to “cross the line” with Thalia.)
