It’s always bittersweet when a show comes to an end, make it a Jennifer L. Armentrout series and it’s the definition of bittersweet. Grace and Glory brings a conclusion to The Harbringer trilogy, but whether it will be the finale of this world series is a question only time will tell. We all thought that the Dark Elements series ended this world, but we found out otherwise here. And that was such an epic adventure that I wouldn’t be surprised if Jennifer returns a few years later.

So, we all remember how Rage and Ruin ended, we raged, we broke… really, the title set us up. lol But Trin knows that Zayne isn’t gone forever. And he’s actually back, but now he’s different, he’s a fallen angel and has no recollection of his or Trinity’s friends and family. But Trinity doesn’t take no with grace and dignity, she’ll do whatever it takes to get close to Zayne and get him back.

But there is still the fact that the end of the world is at stake. Gabriel still plans to destroy all of humanity and bring hell to heaven and you know, total chaos and destruction. Trinity knows that she must kill Gabriel before it is too late or she will be used to bring about the end of all things. Roth and Layla work on the new plan, which involves bringing Lucifer to Earth and having him kill his brother Gabriel.

Well, honestly, it shouldn’t be a huge spoiler that the Zayne we all know and love will eventually revert to himself and Trinity. I mean, it wouldn’t be a JLA book without the brilliant romance we all love about her! Zayne and Trinity have more than their share of steamy moments and woohoo boy!

It’s hard to remember a time when these two struggled to be together on the most intimate level. You’ve come a long way since that first book, and honestly, I’m so happy Zayne was happy with Trinity that she should always be her destiny. Come to think of it… if the readers hadn’t voted for Roth… that might have been a whole different story!

What was probably the BEST part of this book was when Lucifer was on Earth enjoying new technology and all the 21st century had to offer… including… wait… SUPERNATURAL! Yes, Lucifer manages to adapt to the Supernatural show and becomes obsessed with his own character. Not just in the way he’s portrayed, but in pretty much everything about the show itself.

It’s absolutely fun! He was killing me as I watched episode after episode wondering why Lucifer chose to do this and not that, he overlooked his brother’s performance and gave Trinity the death glare while ruining a season finale! hahaha omg that was just the best thing ever! You don’t really have to know the show to understand what’s going on, and besides, anyone who ruins the season finale of a favorite series deserves a death stare!

Grace And Glory book was also very well paced. It’s also broken into parts, we have to save Zayne, the planning and everything else, then save Zayne and then try to plan the endgame and then you know the actual ending. The rhythm between each part was also very enticing! You kept turning the pages, excited to see what would happen next. Jennifer just has that style of writing, she knows how to keep her readers interested in her.

Grace and Glory was the last conclusion of the Harbinger series! It was packed with action, suspense, romance…all to make for an exciting and exciting read. It was the best kind of series finale, one that gives readers hope for a brighter future for those who remain and gives the right hint that this might not be the end of this world either. If you haven’t started this amazing angel/devil/apocalyptic showdown of a series yet, now is the time to do so! There’s nothing like reading a series, let alone one of the ultra-talented Jennifer L. Armentrout! This series is pure gold!
