The third book in the series will be Jasper’s story, and you know it’ll have all the feelings too – there’s just something about these Eaton cowboys and women that throws his world off balance.

I can’t say enough words about how much I love this book. Let Elsie Silver embrace the pure opposites: a grumpy man who would give her arm for peace and quiet, and a cheeky babysitter who always has a witty, if often inappropriate, response ready, creating a delicious tension that draws you around the corner brings

If this book was a candy, it would be a chocolate covered chili. It lures you in with the sweet only to get a spicy surprise once you get to the middle. A heat that has you fanning and looking for a drink.

This book is the second in the Chestnut Springs series, but can also be read individually. Characters from the first book and Silver’s previous series make an appearance, but he provides enough information for readers to form a picture of who they are.

It also previews Jasper’s backstory, and as someone who’s had a crush on him since Flawless, I can’t wait for his book.

This book is the second in the Chestnut Springs series and follows Willa (Summer’s best friend from Flawless) and Cade (Rhett’s brother from Flawless). Cade needs a babysitter for two months while his son Lucas is on summer vacation. Willa takes a break from her job around town and Summer offers Willa to help Cade. The tension, the longing, the tug of war.

Cade is our grumpy, brooding cowboy who’s been wronged in the past and won’t open up. He’s got wounds from a past relationship, and when Willa’s wild personality starts to break through his grumpy exterior, he’s ready for more.

Willa has never felt at peace. Not knowing what to do with her life or where she wants to be, Lucas and Cade make her feel at home like never before. I love her connection with Lucas where you have that bond immediately. She takes care of him and shows him unconditional love. Watching Cade slowly open up and show his softer side is so cute.

I love the whole Eaton family and they make this book even more enjoyable. I love how they are all connected and show up in this book. We get a lot of glimpses of Rhett, Summer and Harvey, even Jasper. This book is sweet and gorgeous. This book packs a punch with the spice and get you ready for a dirty-talking cowboy. This book reminds you that it’s never too late to follow your dreams and do something for yourself. I love this series and these characters and I have a feeling that they will stay with me for a long time.
