Hiding Places was a great addition to the Rochester trilogy. I loved that you not only got Mateo and Emily’s story, but more of Beau and Jane as well! If you like super fast reads in one place, this book is for you. I was immediately hooked and couldn’t put it down! I was not prepared for this ending! I would read the first three books in this trilogy before reading this one. You won’t get the full backstory if you don’t! I definitely recommend this book and the series!

Emily Rochester is ALIVE and WELL and back in Maine where she lives with her daughter Paige while living with Beau Rochester, her brother in law and their friend Jane Mendoza the nanny and you would think and hope that EVERYTHING is fine now BUT everyone is. we know. It is not!!

Emily and Jane testify against Emily’s brother Joe and it seems the press and locals think it’s not a dirty police office BUT what do you know…they weren’t kidnapped, killed, threatened or abused BUT what does let the family know… Throw a best friend, actor, and lover into the mix and you have Mateo Garza who will steal your HEART! He just wants everything to be alright… just alright!

Yes, that’s a lot of BUT, BUT there are so many buts, thrills, and love in this episode of Rochester! Love of two friends… desires and needs of two others and the LOVE of an innocent girl!! Oh, and let’s not forget Disneyland in PARIS!

You will laugh and scream and cry in Hiding Places too, BUT you will also have hope and defeat. This family loves hard and lives soft!!

I can’t express how excited I am to see another book in this series! I needed to know how they were after everything that had happened! How is your life now?!? Emily is doing everything she can to move on and raise Paige the best she can after being away for so long. Emily is attracted to Mateo and she isn’t particularly happy about it. Mateo is attracted to Emily and responds to her. I’m actually surprised at how much I like these two together.

Jane and Beau are still head over heels in love. He pushes her to go to school and she struggles to decide what is the best decision for both of them. The chemistry between Jane and Beau hasn’t changed, it’s a one page chemistry and I love it! I really enjoyed this book and the intense update on Joe. Are you still in danger? when will it all end? We definitely got all our questions answered in this amazing book. The characters were great as always and the story was engaging. Thank you so much for another great book in this great series!

Welcome back to Eben Cape and the world Skye Warren created for us. This is the fourth book in this series and it is exactly what we were asking for.

We jump back to this world, Beau and Jane have moved into their new home, Emily and Paige are trying to make up for lost time, and Mateo is trying to figure out where in this world he belongs. All of these characters are going through some growing pains trying to process their emotions while dealing with the stress of Joe’s trial.

Skye has given us a perfect complement to this series with this book. It’s a bit dark, but that’s why we love this series. I think you need to read this series in its entirety to fully enjoy it, but honestly, it’s not hard at all.
