My goodness, what an exciting third book and finale to this trilogy! So much happened that there was literally not a dull second in the book. Bliss, War, Vincent, Nash and the other characters kept me entertained from the start, although at times I was deeply disturbed by one or more of these wonderful characters.
The mystery of what really happened to War’s parents got even more convoluted and then there was the mysterious dealer and who killed Axel! My suspicions as to who was behind Army’s death immediately resurfaced, but of course a slight twist crept into the work as I discussed the anticipation. Throughout the trilogy we got enough pieces of the puzzles to solve a few things, but then we started shooting more again to make you sit back and think… I didn’t see this brilliant storyline coming from the author !
You’ll find the usual excellent sense of humor in this book; The hilarious banter between the characters, particularly Vincent and Scythe, is very funny, often dry or sarcastic, but also hilarious. Then there’s Rebel, who literally made me laugh at times with his hilarious antics. (Can’t wait to mention it once, but no spoilers from me!)
I felt all the emotions and I won’t lie, I was so angry at times at the unfairness of what was going on with some of the characters that I was angry…so I told myself it was a story…get it Mrs! But that is the intensity of this story and the quality of the writing.
Now I want the next trilogy, especially after the end of End With Violence! Damn that was over and it got my excitement back!
In this third and final book in the Saint View Psychos series, it picks up right where the second book ends and plunges you back into the fear and uncertainty of the situation you’re in. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if all players would make it to the end of this story. Bliss, Nash, War and Vincent…how can it work against so much? I felt her joy and pain leap from the pages right into my heart.
You can see this story come full circle by bringing in some old faces and seeing where they are now. i loved your head but the setup for the next series broke my heart in the extra epilogue. And the additional scene that we can download in the e-book is very cute and touching. What a bittersweet farewell to this group. I’m sure it won’t be the last time we see her. Fingers crossed!
