Ali Hazelwood is an Italian neuroscientist and romance novelist. The main characters in it are women in STEM subjects and in science. Her first novel, The Love Hypothesis, was a New York Times bestseller. In 2022 she published three novels (first as audiobooks, then as e-books): Under One Roof, Stuck with You, and Below Zero.

Born and raised in Italy, Hazelwood lived in Japan and Germany before moving to the United States to pursue her Ph.D. in neuroscience. She currently works as a full time teacher.

We meet our hero Bee Königswasser, a neuroscientist; that she follows the life of Marie Curie (the mother of modern physics). Reputed to be a brilliant scientist, Bee is offered a position as co-director of NASA’s BLINK neuroengineering project.

Levi Ward, our hero, is very cold when he sees Bee since they weren’t friends in elementary school; Bee always thought he hated her. On Bee’s first day, she accidentally falls down and it is Levi who saves her; but now that her team is unavailable, the people who work for Levi ignore them. What’s going on? After a while, Levi tells Bee that her boss didn’t want her to be a part of her project, as they wanted her success to be their own. But with Levi’s help, they convince the boss that they need Bee’s amazing skills as a neuroscientist.

A slow-burning foe of romance begins as Bee learns that Levi has never hated her in the past; because her feelings were exactly the opposite. With each passing day, Bee sees Levi becoming an ally to her, supporting her and managing her ideas; and the chemistry between them heats up. She really loved Bee and Levi together as they made a great couple with a lot of chemistry between them.

Love on the Brain was an interesting plot where technology and science worked together; though she didn’t understand much of what they were doing. It didn’t matter though, as it was a cute and fun romance, not to mention the wonderful banter between our couple. Some of the supporting characters were very good and there were also some surprising developments at the end.

Love On The Brain What follows is a funny, sexy, and entertaining rom-com with a fabulous couple, great supporting characters, good jokes, and sexy. Love on the Brain was written very well by Ali Hazelwood. I recommend you read Love in the brain.

Love on the Brain is pure pleasure. I will admit that Ali Hazelwood’s big brain confused mine at first, as I had to pause a lot to understand exactly what Dr. Bee created aqua regia in his lab both at NIH and now at NASA. But it’s Hazelwood’s sharp wit, which she channeled into Bee, that kept me going.

I laughed both to myself and out loud as Bee navigated a largely human-controlled scientific world with his hysterical euphemisms and inner thoughts. He showed the most human side of the complexities that the respected scientist is working on, so that once I understood the complicated jargon, or at least pretended to, the pages flowed beautifully and I was completely immersed in all things, bee.

Not only have I fallen in love with Bee, but also with his sworn enemy and the man he currently works with, Levi Ward. She tries hard to be decent, but Bee is always there to remind her how much he hates her, something that apparently started when they were both in grad school.

The numerous times Levi is interrupted or prevented from explaining why his behavior has driven me a little crazy, I’ll admit right now. But as the story progresses and the truths are gradually revealed, while a shocked bee gradually softens when it comes to Dr.

The way Levi is actually a big supporter of Bee is totally blown away by his knowledge and the way he solves the problems they have with his project was really sweet. I won’t reveal any of the many secrets he kept all these years later, but let’s just say I loved how it all turned out, as Bee finally cleared up all the doubts I had about Levi and the flaws in his ex-fiancé Tim.

To say that Bee’s brain really gets tested over and over again is an understatement. And I’m sure it’s because matters of the heart are beginning to creep into her daily thoughts, something she fights tooth and nail but also secretly cherishes.

The side story about Gus and his help getting the prototype helmet to work successfully is a great tangent and definitely helps take Bee and Levi’s messy relationship to another level. The misunderstandings are clearly the M.O. our partner and the closer they get to success, let’s just say things don’t necessarily go according to plan.

Bee’s twin sister, travel-loving Reike, and her lyrics full of biting yet loving wisdom, her grim and grim RA Rocio combined with the mysterious cat Felicette make for some lighter moments and real joy for the often-troubled scientist. . And the whole @WWMD movement certainly adds a new layer to Bee and her secret boyfriend Ella Shmac and everything that is revealed later in the book.

But without a doubt, it’s the dialogue and the incredibly good chemistry between Bee and Levi that drives this Love On The Brain and makes this wild ride the wonderful reading experience it was for me. In fact, they could laugh and exchange quills as if it was a competition, while both were helpless to fall in love with each other completely. And they both made it so adorable and joyful doing it.

I will definitely add Ali Hazelwood to my list of favorite authors, especially when I’m looking for something different and wildly clever. Love on the Brain could well be the perfect late-summer read, as Bee Hazelwood introduces a very sharp and brilliant heroine who, at the same time, could be any woman trying to juggle her life to the best of her ability. . And Love On The Brain with a lot of humor, humility and a beautiful soul. Thank God, Levi’s heart never had a chance.
