That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to be her friend and longs for something more.

They haven’t touched each other in front of the camera for years. But on their final night of filming, their mutual indifference finally ends and they turn on each other. Will they have what it takes to make it to the end, or will they split after filming is finished?

This is my first Olivia Dade book. I’ve seen your other books and always wanted to check them out. I haven’t read the other two books in the series. Overall I really liked this book. I loved that the main plot was a viking show. It reminded me of the Vikings series. I loved that they were regular actors trying to make a living. I enjoyed the text conversations and scripts included in it. I think the description was a bit too much at times.

I felt like I was inside the characters heads and they were thinking about things. I understand why they didn’t want to screw things up because they worked together, but six years felt like a long time too. So it looked like something had happened. There was also a bit more spice than I’m used to reading about. The epilogue wasn’t my favorite. It seemed like a lot of exposure.

Just like the other books in the series, the book cover is fantastic! I love him so much. While Ship Wrecked can be considered a standalone book, I recommend reading the first two books before delving into this one. It will give you more insight into the characters that occasionally appear in this book, their personalities, and how closely intertwined the series are.

So I like this book a lot. There is a great longing between Maria and Peter. They had a great night together, only to meet again during the audition for the Gods of the Gates series and found themselves on a remote island where they worked for six years. The sequence of their relationship is excellent, from animosity to friends to lovers.

I love the moments when one does something for the other without being magnanimous; They just want to do something for each other’s happiness. I find him charming and he shows first class longing! And just like all of the author’s previous books, this is such a body positive book. It also handles the complexities of love beautifully, especially between two people who are completely confused about how to deal with such different ideals.

Overall it still feels a bit disappointing given how solid the first two books were from start to finish, especially All the Feels. I still love the author and look forward to more of her works.
