Not only is she stuck in a rut, she’s in it up to her chin. The only company she has in bed is Netflix’s back catalog, and falling in love seems like the stuff of fairy tales. So when she stumbles upon the popular Sorry Not Sorry podcast, which urges women to embrace the bad girl inside of them, she jumps at the chance to turn things around.

The old Charlotte would never ask for a stranger’s number, she’d go on a blind date or shop for lacy lingerie… But the new Charlotte is waving to her comfort zone (with a side of daisies). And it turns out that the good things happen to the bad girls…

A fabulous feel-good novel that will make you laugh and live life to the fullest, Margarita in hand! If you’re a fan of the romantic comedies by the Sophie Kinsella, Lindsey Kelk, or also Matt Dunn and love TV shows like the Girls, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and also Jane the Virgin, you won’t be able to put this fun read down.

SORRY NOT SORRY is a cute romantic comedy that follows Charlotte. Charlotte’s life goes through some changes. Both of her roommates are engaged and moving out of her house to start lives of their own, leaving Charlotte with two new roommates she has never met and also without her best friend. Charlotte isn’t sure how to meet her special someone when she stumbles upon an old podcast called Sorry Not Sorry that really speaks to her: she talks about a journey in which she tries to get out of a comfort zone as a girl. more bad. person (although it’s all really harmless stuff like calling the guy first).

Charlotte also has a really demanding job that makes things a bit more challenging. This book has a lot of really funny moments, but it often feels like Charlotte just can’t catch a break. I really enjoyed reading about Charlotte and the people she meets, and the work stories are often very funny and entertaining. This book definitely made me laugh.

The romance was a bit lackluster in the sense that it wasn’t all that uplifting. The last couple didn’t have many cute or intimate scenes, so I saw it coming, but I didn’t cheer as much as I’d like. I was also a little concerned that things weren’t really working out with her roommate Tansy (and her stalker) and the work issues that came up were too easy to figure out.

When Charlotte’s best friend and roommate, Maddy, moves in with her boyfriend, Charlotte begins to question her life. She’s been single for quite some time and it seems like she just can’t get a date night, let alone a long-term partner.

Desperate for answers, she turns to Google, which opens a dating blog site. The site may be old, but the information must still be relevant, right? Through a series of podcasts titled Sorry, Not Sorry about living life to the fullest and having fun, Charlotte delves into a world she’s never set foot in before, but will this lead to true love?

Sorry Not Sorry is a funny story of a woman willing to try anything to improve her love life. Her best friend is getting married and leaving her as they were the three roommates: Charlotte, best friend Maddy and her boyfriend Henry, and now Maddy and Henry moved in together. How dare they!

We get to follow Charlotte as she goes through a list of challenges designed to improve her life, which in turn will allow her to find the man of her dreams, though it’s not easy.

The book made me laugh in parts, but I found the pacing a bit slow at first and it took me a while to get used to the characters, including the new roommates. About halfway through, the book came to life and I raced to the finish line.

If you are looking for a quick and easy read that will make you smile, this is your book.
