Case in point is indeed abundant in providing practical cases and their solutions. I found these cases to be incredibly helpful in understanding various industry issues as well as different types of case questions.

• This book is good for practicing profit/loss, merger and acquisition, new business or geography, market share gain/loss, and competitive attack cases.

Shortcoming

• Though this book is great in providing practice cases, it fails to provide a deep understanding of how to solve these cases.
• The outline provided by this book is very weak and superficial.
• The author have simple frameworks like “The Four C’s”, “The Four P’s” and “Profit = Revenue-Loss”. While these frames are relevant, they are very weak and will make you look amateurish to your interviewer.
