This is the first book by Elle Gray that I have read. I liked the story as it also featured the life of Olivia Knight, an FBI agent. Olivia just moved to a small town an hour’s drive from D.C. He moved to find peace in the city and the thought of what had happened to his family. Olivia had many cases that gave her sleepless nights and longer days. Now she’s caught up in a case in her new town when a girl shows up on her porch at night. Olivia must work with an agent she doesn’t know.
Can they really work together, become friends, or also solve the case with together? This is a great story about how anything can affect us and even cause problems in our work. Can Olivia overcome anything to stay on the case and the FBI, or has she gone as far as to finally quit? To me, this was a wonderful story and a mystery. I read the book through in one go. The ending was a little surprising. I am now on my way to read my next Elle Gray book. I hope you write more about Olivia.

Young girls are kidnapped from their homes and the people of Belle Grove are horrified. Olivia and her partner Brock are totally determined to solve this quite impossible case at any cost. This is not a typical criminal.
Imagination and expert investigative skills are required to save the kidnapped young girls. I loved how we got to know the personalities of Olivia and Brock as they learned to work together as partners. I look forward to reading Olivia Knight’s next book to learn more about her own mysterious family and her growing relationship with Brock. If you love good detective stories with a dash of humor, this book is for you!
