Conor and Star have one of the most beautiful and unique relationships I have ever read about. Conor is very unusual for a mafia hero, but in the best way. First off, he’s a hot nerd, a hacker who’d rather break through firewalls than break necks (although he’s proven to be able to do both). He’s also an absolute cinnamon bun when it comes to Star, he treats her with such a gentle, loving bow.
The star is a contradiction. She’s a total badass. Frankly, Star has more BDE than most CMMs with alpha holes. However, her traumatic past as a slave of s3ggs makes intimacy very difficult for her. Conor is also a survivor of SA’s childhood. The author did a very good job on a very sensitive subject. Their relationship developed so naturally and I loved watching them work through their past together.
