I first discovered this series last year and it has quickly established itself as one of my favorite series of all time. I counted the days until this came out and read it all morning until I was done. Returning to the world of VRC and these amazing characters did not disappoint.
In How to Challenge a Vampire we are introduced to several new characters and all of them connect to Marcus and thanks to them we learn a little more about his past. We can find out what a certain now deceased vampire did to our adorable Finn. I hated that part of Finn. It’s a chapter in his life that I think everyone wants to go through.

The Christmas episodes were full of antics that made me fall in love with the show. Claude, oh Claude, how I love his character and the hilarity he brings. Watching her relationship with Marcus grow from where it was in other books was wonderful.
The course of the story captivated me. I want more more more and I know there’s more to come, but I also don’t want this series to ever end. However, I know that all good things must come to an end. I have my theories about how this could all end and how many more people could be kidnapped or seriously injured. But I’m sure Alice can give all our beloved favorites a solid HEA at the end.
I have a feeling we need more people on Finn’s protection team. Just a few more. Maybe he’ll grow up before the series ends. I’m also curious if a comment in this book is anything like an omen, but I’m happy to wait to find out.
