It’s DI Laura Hart’s first day at the Beaumaris CID. She will work for DI Gareth Williams, head of the department and the first relationship she has had since her husband’s death. But this identification leads to a complex trail of deceit, violence and murder.

Policing at its finest in Too Deep! Simon McCleave has created unforgettable multi-layered characters. The plot is engaging and nuanced and the setting atmospheric. The subplot about the life of a soldier moving from the past to the present is excellent. I can’t wait for the next part of the Anglesey series.
