Zaxton and Aurelia… oh how I love them both. Each of them breaks in their own way, each working towards their own goals and turning off. From the moment their paths cross again, there is mistrust and attraction. The chemistry between the two is sizzling and the banter between them was fantastic from start to finish. I devoured his story completely. I was absolutely captivated from start to finish.
Zaxton has been out of relationships since losing his girlfriend, and while the man is no stranger to having fun, he never lets it get serious. Aurelia didn’t have the best life, she was alone from a young age. But through it all, he worked hard for everything he deserved. I loved his strength and determination. Both are broken, but together they found a way to heal these shards and bring down the walls.
I loved the supporting characters in this story, from Lamar to Zaxton’s friends. I can’t wait to get back to this series and this world.
