Have you ever found a book that came into your life at the right time? Does it suck you in and make you forget about real life for a few hours? That was exactly this book. The story of Zya, Brody and Winnie was loving, moving and intense at moments that took my breath away. There were a few tears in this book, but it was worth it. His friends-to-lovers story with an adorable girl, cat, wolf, magic, golf carts, ghosts and attempted murder is my favorite book in the Keating Hollow series.

I don’t know how this author can do this to me in every book in this series. Yes, romance is not my usual favorite genre, yes I still read this series and yes I cried at the end. This is the thirteenth book in the series and this one is as good as any. Poor Zya and Brody have been pining for each other for years, and their road to their HEA is fraught with more difficulties before they can even become a couple. All of the characters are wonderful and I loved seeing characters from previous books. The ending looking at the next couple was a pleasant surprise. I can’t wait for the next one. Highly recommended.
