I really enjoyed this book and thought it would be another good complement to Quinn’s Gray Wolves. Wow, this book was a roller coaster of emotions. The pack and their allies unite to fight one power-hungry enemy at a time. Yes, they really get knocked down more than just once, but they get back up to fight another day. A couple suffered a great loss towards the end of the book that they did not expect. The pack showed them that they are loved. They held them and cried with them. I look forward to seeing how this couple deals with their loss in future books.

Cain, the king of the vampires, decides to work on his own plans, working with the very people he intended to subdue. I’m glad Alston got what he got after all the pain and suffering he caused in his quest for ultimate power. I enjoyed meeting Lizzy and Finn and can’t wait for the next book after reading the excerpt at the end of this book. Which I have already ordered in advance. I wish I had waited until it was published to read this book because now I have to wait until March for my new Gray Wolves hit. I would definitely recommend this book, this series, this universe, and this author to everyone.

Quinn has outdone himself again! This is a roller coaster ride you may not see coming, from laughter to loss that will leave you breathless and hopeful. The reality and transparency of these characters is a true talent of Quinn’s writing. Once you finish this book, you’ll expect the next one to be available soon. Nothing is what it seems and everything is totally imperfect. Don’t miss out on this amazing book and series that will change your life. All ages from 15 to 150…. There is so much intrigue, adventure, fun, sadness, hope, and new characters that anyone would enjoy any Quinn Loftis book and series!
