The Proposal is the first book I’ve read by this author and I can’t wait to go back and read more from her. I loved the story of Liam and Isla! The jokes between the two are among the best I’ve ever read. I laughed out loud several times! Isla is a bold and independent Spitfire. She wants to make a name for herself as a wedding planner. Liam is a true alpha hole determined to live up to his father’s standards, run the family business in his name… marry, produce and be an heir.
So what is he to do when Isla convinces her fiancée to leave him at the altar? He blackmails her into taking the place of her fiancée. The sexual tension and passion between these two is red hot! I loved every second of it! And Liam is good with words! He not only talks dirty at the highest level, but he is also romantic and provocative. He knows what to say at the right time. He made me shed more than a few tears with his words to Isla! I cannot recommend this book highly enough!
