For thousands of years, the passion between Alexander, Archangel of Persia, and Zanaya, Queen of the Nile, burned bright and furious, seemingly endless. But being an archangel means being tied to power, violent and demanding.

Driven by their primal energy, Alexander and Zanaya fought as fiercely as they loved, trapped in an endless cycle of devotion and anguish. Only Zanaya’s decision to sleep ends her love story.

Eons later, the cascade of death awakens them both. The passion between them is a flame that still burns, Alexander and Zanaya join in a final battle against the ultimate darkness.

But even a warrior archangel cannot win all wars. Alexander’s scream shakes the world as Zanaya falls to the ground, broken and speechless. . . only to be resurrected in a miracle that can be a devastating curse. Because is it really the Queen of the Nile who has risen?

Only one thing is clear: this is the last beat of her passionate and angry dance. Alexander’s last song and his Zani. . .

Alexander, Archangel of Persia and Zanaya, Queen of the Nile is a love story that lasts eons and continues to shine even as they parted for years only to find their true love again. Alejandro is older and when he became an Archangel he knew that he was attracted to the young Zanaya, but he was determined to let her grow up until she became her Archangel’s general and now Alejandro claimed the woman he loved. The relationship was strong and hot, but also tumultuous, giving rise to misunderstandings that would last for several years until they reconciled and resumed their deep love relationship.

Zanaya chose to sleep after so many millennia and let Alexander live without her; temporarily shake her love affair. When the evil Lijuan war took place, the waterfall awakened many ancient archangels and Zanaya woke up. The passion between them still burns as they fight Lijuan along with other archangels; and Alexander’s scream shakes the world as Zanaya falls and is attacked by Lijuan. Seriously injured in battle, Cassandra heals Zanaya; her when she wakes up after only ten years; She feels a little different, worried that she has a little bit of Lijuan inside of her.

I loved seeing so many of the other Archangels that we have come to love. In this story I loved Zanaya’s friendship with Auri, who became her best friend and her second; as well as more. Avelina was also great as Alexander’s second.

Archangel’s Resurrection was a monumental love story that spanned millennia and was very romantic and very emotional throughout, making it a fabulous addition to this series. She really loved Alexander and Zanaya together.
