Ali Hazelwood is an Italian neuroscientist and romance novelist. The main characters in it are women in STEM subjects and in science. Her first novel, The Love Hypothesis, was a New York Times bestseller. In 2022 she published three novels (first as audiobooks, then as e-books): Under One Roof, Stuck with You, and Below Zero.
Born and raised in Italy, Hazelwood lived in Japan and Germany before moving to the United States to pursue her Ph.D. in neuroscience. She currently works as a full time teacher.

In the third part of The STEminist Novellas, we meet Hannah, who discovered a passion for space late in her teens and tries hard to join NASA, and Ian, a genius who works at the space agency. since i was 18
The story is told by interspersing present and past, which allows us to meet Hannah and understand the passion that flows between them.
As in the previous novels, the conflict arises from a lack of communication. But despite my hatred of the trope, it didn’t bother me too much in this case.
I liked both Hannah who is an amazing scientist and Ian who is amazing and very in love. I feel like this story could have been a novel as there are many things about the characters that we don’t get a chance to learn that could have been explored. It would also have been interesting to learn more about the projects, working at NASA and what happened to Dr. happened to Merel.
I think this story might suffer from being the last of the three. There are many similarities between the novels and even with the love hypothesis. It’s getting harder and harder to verify each story independently because they’re mostly reading the same thing. I really hope next time Ali will write something different, avoid misunderstandings and BIG guys.
This was an enjoyable read and I would highly recommend it for contemporary romance readers.
I loved this book! Yuck! Why was it so short? I identify very much with Hannah. I was also confused about my future until I was 16. I can understand her wondering if people, anyone, would still love her if they really spent time with her, really got to know her. Jan. Lights, Ian. I love it. I love it. I would do anything for this lovely, serious man! It’s so sweet and direct.
Their little bursts of humor and the fact that neither of them can speak in full sentences once they start talking to each other lol. I love this story as someone who is obsessed with space who would spend their weekends watching the science channel and “what the heck” my heart is so full. I just need more of this!
