After reading Ember And Her Marshals, I was so excited that we were getting more books in the same world. I love a world connected with different stories/characters. Rosemary did not let Ember and the Marshals down on him! There is a bit of everything, love at first sight, friends for lovers and enemies for lovers (more or less).
There’s also a lot going on with politics and horrible things happening to Omegas, and we see that since Ember is a shunned Omega. Also, if you like the two omegas together, you’ll get that in this book, I loved that aspect of it!
The one thing I love about Rosemary’s writing is that they are all mature adults. As silly as it sounds, it’s 100% true, all the trouble you’re going through isn’t just because you’re right or stubborn. The way they solve their problems and figure out how to solve the problems the book raises.
All of these amazing characters have a lot of depth and you really care about them. I loved this book as much as volume 1 and can’t wait for the next book! If you like the Omegaverse and want a different twist, this book and the first one are perfect!
