I, like so many others, asked the author for more Ben and Elle. To be honest, my actions could be seen as begging. Heidi McLaughlin not only listened to my request, but she gave me everything. She put her heart and soul into this book. You may be wondering how I know this. My answer is that all you have to do is read Give Me Forever and you will know it too.

I read the story. Then I read it again. I closed the book in a state of euphoria. I closed the book, grateful to have discovered such a talented writer all those years ago. She guided me through so many emotions and in the end all I felt was a state of calm. I’ve made my way alongside so many wonderful characters in the Beaumont franchise. Your love and support for Ben and Elle picked me up when I was breaking down. Ben and Elle weathered the storm and are now walking in the sunlight.

Give Me Forever started out as Ugly Cry, a really gut-wrenching Ugly Cry. I’ve yelled more than I’ll ever admit. The characters were constantly challenged. For this reader, the tears were worth it. The tissues spilled onto the trash can. Each handkerchief is a thank you to the author for giving everything.

The end of Give Me Forever fills me with hope, hope for eternity. The author puts the reader to work for the HEA. There were times when I didn’t think they would make it. Luckily, the author gave me hope to continue. She gave the characters hope to continue.

Give Me Forever is an inspiring story. She reminded me that love can make you stronger. If you are lucky enough to have a friend’s shoulder to lean on, then you have it all. For some, family is everything, and they will stop you if you can’t make it on your own. For me, the most important thing was that blood does not make a family, love does. Give Me Forever is full of love.

I am a confessed addict to epilogues. I love her every time. The author gave readers more of the entire Beaumont clan and couldn’t be happier with the result! Yes, this is a sequel to Elle and Ben, but it really is a homecoming. Everyone we love appears in this story. And they’re there because they love Ben and Elle so much that they’d do anything, give up anything, to support them.

It takes me a while to make myself cry, but I was close. You may want to keep tissues handy. Ben—gah!! it has broken my heart!! The whole message of the book revolves around love. But for Ben and Elle, it’s really realizing what love means to them.

Fans of the series will fall in love with this book. If you haven’t read the series yet, go back to the beginning with Forever My Girl.

This reading disappointed me a bit, beware, you need tissues! When I got into this book, it was already “Team Ben” because I had a certain feeling from my previous relationship with Elle. Suffice to say, I’ve decided to keep an open mind and give Elle a fair chance. I am happy to say that this story changed my perception and opened my heart.

Ben is still my favorite in this duo and I thoroughly enjoyed all his chapters. I have to admit that by the end of this book I had an overwhelming sense of a lesson learned about finding the middle in relationships. Elle and Ben really got me thinking about the importance of appreciating every day. It was wonderful to be back in Beaumont and I look forward to more!
