Ho ho ho, it’s that time again and Clio has delivered flawlessly! Little Kiss of Snow was everything he needed and more! I won’t lie, but when I read the Creature Cafe series, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the creatures and their companions that I have come to love and cherish. However, when Clio announced that he was going to write a novel bringing the characters back to life, I think I actually cried.
Revisiting the characters 5 years after the events at Creature Cafe made me burst with joy! Each couple was reviewed and each had their own unique story to tell! I loved that the barista almost told us a very naughty Christmas story from the couples. Is each story like discovering the stories again for the first time and honestly? I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of monstrous spicy smut but with a Christmas twist.
Also, I especially liked the newly reunited couple Sam and Luca! Your New Year’s Eve story definitely started the new year off with a bang! It definitely increased my nostalgia for the Creature Cafe! I will definitely re-read this anthology just before Christmas to get myself in the mood!
Mister. I’ll never know how Clio Evans packed so much commotion into one book. This has all kinds of fun monsters that go berserk in so many delightful and adorable ways.
For fans of the Ceature Cafe series, here we can come back to all our couples five years later. Each couple has their own little novel, set on Christmas Eve. The depth and connection we experience between all couples along with the level of smut is on point. If you like monsters, this has a little bit of everything for everyone.
We also get a new match from Barista, Sam and Lucas. Her little New Years novella was sweet and sexy. Who knew that a story about a basilisk and his human could be so tasty? Clio has!
This was a hot read that will be in my library for a long time whenever I need something cute, sexy, and different. All around five stars.
