Reed hides so many secrets that becoming Cambodian is just another on his list. He is surprised when someone of Carter’s popularity and online presence agrees to film scenes with him. He’s further surprised when it turns out that Carter is so much more than just a flirtatious online presence. Reed can’t help but fall in love with Carter’s caring nature, and the two share more than steamy bedroom scenes.
I’ve enjoyed all of Nicole Dykes’ MM novels, so I was excited to see a collaboration with her. Carter and Reed’s story was an excellent balance between steamy scenes while they went about their jobs together and then so many precious little moments of cuddling, movies, bowling and food. Carter’s group of Cambodian best friends was everything and I can’t wait to hear all of their stories. With just the right balance of angst, steam and sweetness, I’d call Dyke and Rose’s first book together a hit!
