I have read his entire series, Dirty Broken Savages, Sinners of Hawthorne University, The Dark Elite, Clearwater University, and The Black Rose Kisses. I am clearly a fan of his writing and Twisted Games did not disappoint!
I always love how there are little connected moments between his books that happen in the same universe, so I love hearing the mention of River and Ash from Dirty Broken Savages. Knowing that these were the brothers sent to defeat Nikolai made me immediately invested in their story. Willow is an easy character to find, you want her to succeed and get over the crap her life has thrown at her.
The Voronin brothers are half-breeds, but it is very easy to fall in love with them. Malice is so hot-tempered and so passionate, Ransom is instantly lovable and just makes you smile, and Vic is much harder to get to know, but you can see from his actions how much he truly cares for his brothers and eventually for Willow. .
Of course, this book ends on a massive cliffhanger like most of her books, so I can’t wait until the next one comes out to see what happens with Willow and the Voronin brothers. If you have read any of Eva’s other books, you will definitely find what she is looking for and enjoy this read.
Eva absolutely wrecked it! The plot, character development, and flavor were absolute perfection. She does an amazing job of immersing you in the story and feeling what her characters are going through.
Phew Malice Daddy oh my god…..it’s something else. He gives me totally Knox vibes from his Dirty Broken Savages series and boy is he bad, I couldn’t get enough of him. I’m excited to see how Willow’s character develops in the next book. I love the fire in her that is starting to break through.
