What I like about Lucy Smoke is that she doesn’t hold back when it comes to Micki and Luc’s story as she was really dark and raw and raw. Which also made it easy for me to connect with the characters when they were at their lowest and highest points. There was a lot of drama and unexpected twists that surprised me and kept me on my toes.

Micki and Luc’s reconnection was definitely hot and a bit over the top when Luc was protective but trying to prove something when he was with Micki. I was also looking forward to seeing the previous characters and their growth. It was a great read that didn’t disappoint at all.

Absolutely extraordinary ending to this gripping and addictive series. Lucy has had me with Dean and Avalon since Book 1.
This one had such a deep and emotional element as it dealt with some heavy stuff. The author navigated these issues brilliantly and made you feel like you are really there with these characters going through the same hellish nightmare they are going through. It will tug at your heart.
Micki is such a strong woman who went through hell for years to survive.

Now that he is free, he returns to the place where he lost his mother and best friend/boyfriend. She’s back in Eastpoint, wanting revenge and reuniting with Luc.
These two are broken souls without each other, but their broken pieces bind them together.
Everything about this book was brilliant.

The character development was amazing, the story development from the first book to this one outstanding. All of the questions in this series have been answered for me, and I’m very happy with the ending.

I highly recommend this series if you like dark thug romance. This was the only book in the series that wasn’t a romance between enemies and lovers.
