I loved everything about this book. The main character goes through an enormous transformation that is both moving and inspiring. Full of humor and grace, this book has a big heart. And the delicious chemistry between the main characters made me wish it didn’t end. Camille Pagán is one of my favorite authors and I know I will read her again very soon.

GOOD FOR YOU by Camille Pagán is a moving and emotional story of pain, friendship and love that captivated me from beginning to end. I have read and loved almost all of this author’s books, but this is my absolute favorite so far. Aly Jackson has worked hard to achieve her dream of becoming an editor at All Good magazine.
After losing her brother Luke a year ago, Aly is still struggling to come to terms with her grief. When a very public meltdown forces her to take a month’s unpaid leave, she makes her way to the Lake Michigan beach house that Luke left her when he died. When she arrives, Aly is surprised to find that her brother’s best friend, Wyatt, lives there.
She soon learns that Luke left the house to them both. As they try to navigate this awkward situation, Aly and Wyatt discover that they both grieve for Luke, but in very different ways. Can they work through their differences and fulfill Luke’s dying wishes? The characters are so beautifully portrayed and their touching story captured my heart. I loved watching the development of Aly and Wyatt’s relationship. The story made me laugh and cry and I didn’t want it to end. I highly recommend this wonderful book.
