If you’re a fan of Dan Padavona, I don’t think he let me down. This is the first book in the Thomas Shepherd series. It continued from the Wolf Lake series finale with all the characters from the previous series. If you are new to Dan Padavona, you don’t need to read the previous books. Dan Padavona does a good job of creating books for you to read if this is your first time reading. Dan Padavona brings you mystery, suspense, and family.
I really enjoy Thomas and his family and how they support each other. I got some of the culprits right, some I got wrong, it doesn’t happen very often. So Dan Padavona is well advised. It is worth reading in my opinion.
