Jasper Vale is the fourth book in the popular Edens series. I fall more and more in love with the Eden family with each book and Jasper Vale certainly stole my heart along with Eloise Eden. Although Eloise and Jasper have met before, they actually SEE each other for the first time while visiting the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas. A few too many drinks and…let’s just say what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. This story is pure romance at its best.

Oh what a tangled web we weave. Eloise and Jasper may really be married, but they’re strangers. Or mostly like that. And communication is key for just one person in this relationship, which is painful and then something for a while. But while they’re both in trouble, maybe something good can come of it. Maybe Jasper can use Eloise to prove who she is. Maybe Eloise can find her way with Jasper without losing sleep over her.
Eloise really grabbed me from the jump. She’s smart, sweet, stubborn, hardworking, but she’s forced to give in to what others want her to see as worthy. And that is rubbish. Because the others did not have the same needs or the same interference. And sometimes interference brings dangers that no one thought would come their way.
Fortunately, Jasper sees how valuable Eloise is and he 100% disagrees with the games being played. After all, the games are his, even if he doesn’t mean to or if he uses them to protect his heart. And even happier, learn. Jasper is not a man who makes the same mistake too many times. He just needs to put past hurts behind him to truly embrace Eloise and her future before it’s too late.
This book has contributed a lot. Love. Feelings of failure and insecurity. Fear of losing dreams. Anger. Some hate that no one expected it. And, I must repeat, love. So much love. Jasper and Eloise may have a bit of a scary and heartbreaking road ahead of them, but they get to the sunny side of their relationship mostly in one piece. They also tell a story that I couldn’t put down and it made me want more once my time with them was done. So now I really look forward to the Lyla’s time to shine and also maybe find a man worthy of her heart and soul.
