In The Score Sophie and Ike really have an excellent story to tell. After one chance encounter and another, Ike decides the world is telling him to meet Sophie. Fortunately for him, Sophie is willing to follow him and meet him in return. These two can do almost anything. They communicate. They build a friendship along with their relationship. They interact with family and friends. And even if it’s all too much for them at once, they persevere. Sure, they fight a bit. Who does not? But maturity is there, along with family love and support for both.
For now. You may be knocked off the first place podium, but your ability to think things through, to listen to those who were there and did it, and to put the bullshit aside to get things right in some areas of your life, all that makes people immediately winners. He doesn’t play off the field. And you’re not wrong to hesitate to share that with Sophie. He shows it. He says it. he lives it. So he’s definitely the perfect guy for Sophie, and her big family is the perfect group to show her what a family can be like.

I love falling back into the Montgomery clan and I love that when I read this spinoff series I always remember bits of the original series. It feels like home, thank you Kristen.
Sophie has grown into a curvy, sexy and daring woman who knows what I want and she doesn’t care what other people think and she is fabulous. Despite being one of her older cousins, she is very family-oriented and likes to keep in touch with others when she can. She has an amazing job that makes her great and she makes a very good living, this job gives her some flexibility and she is grateful for that.
Ike Harrison is doing what he loves in a city he fell in love with. For him there is not much for him at home. Righteous and overbearing father who thinks Ike should bully him. His focus has always been soccer and doing whatever it takes to stay where he is. Relationships have never been a priority, but if you don’t have a good role model, it can happen.
When Sophie and Ike first meet, it was a shock to both of them. I can’t stop thinking about each other. Only to find out that they knew some of the same people. It’s a fast-attracting spiral with a lot more steam going into it. However, not everything is fun and exciting, as they have to deal with external influences and familiar emotions and they stay strong next to each other.
Ike has to make friends with this big family of up-and-coming businesses, but he’s willing to do anything for Sophie. We’ve got another swooning alpha who can’t get enough of the brazen heroine. Sigh!!!!
