From the New York Times bestselling author The Love Hypothesis comes a new STEMinist romantic comedy in which a scientist is forced to work with her nemesis on a project, with explosive results.
As a purple-haired, avenging Jedi bringing balance to the man-made universe, Bee Aquaria lives by a simple code: what would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her to lead a neuroengineering project, a literal dream come true after years of browsing the crumbs of academia, Marie would agree without hesitation. Fool. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-direct with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is tall, dark, and handsome with kind of piercing eyes. And sure enough, he caught her in her tightly intertwined arms like a romantic hero when he accidentally angst out on her on her first day in her lab. But Levi made his feelings about Bee very clear in grad school: Nemeses work best in their own galaxies far, far away.
Now that she is missing the equipment, her staff ignores her and Bee finds her career stuck in a big bind. Maybe it’s her occipital cortex playing tricks on her, but Bee could swear she’s watching Levi become an ally of hers, supporting her plays, supporting her ideas… devouring her with those eyes. And chances make every neuron in her fire. But when it comes time to do something and put her heart on the line, there’s only one question that matters: what will the aqua regia bee do?

Ali Hazelwood’s Love on the Brain is another one of her sweet, funny, and sexy romantic comedy novels. I|n Love On The Brain We meet our heroine, Aqua Regia, a neuroscientist; that she follows the life of Marie Curie (the mother of modern physics). Considered a brilliant scientist, Bee is offered a position as co-director of NASA’s BLINK neuroengineering project. BLINK Trials Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to Process Astronaut Helmets! As excited as she is, Bee isn’t excited about working with her old nemesis, the co-leader, but Bee knows she has to put her past behind her in order to work together.
Levi Ward, our hero, is very cold when he sees Bee since they weren’t friends in elementary school; Bee always thought he hated her. On Bee’s first day, she accidentally falls down and it is Levi who saves her; But now that her team is unavailable, the people who work for Levi ignore her. What’s going on? After a while, Levi tells Bee that her boss didn’t want her to be a part of his project because they wanted her success to be theirs alone. But with Levi’s help, they convince the boss that they need Bee’s amazing skills as a neuroscientist.
A slow-burning foe of romance begins as Bee learns that Levi has never hated her in the past; because her feelings were exactly the opposite. With each passing day, Bee sees Levi becoming an ally to her, supporting her and managing her ideas; and the chemistry between them heats up. She really loved Bee and Levi together as they made a great couple with a lot of chemistry between them.
Love on the Brain was an interesting story where technology and science worked together; though she didn’t understand much of what they were doing. It didn’t matter though as it was a sweet and fun romance, not to mention the wonderful banter between our couple. Some of the supporting characters were very good and there were also some surprising developments at the end.
In Love On The Brain What follows is a funny, sexy, and entertaining rom-com with a fabulous couple, great supporting characters, good jokes, and sexy. Love on the Brain was very well written by Ali Hazelwood. I recommend reading Love in the brain.
Love on the Brain is pure pleasure. I admit that Ali Hazelwood’s big brain confused mine at first, as I had to pause a lot to understand exactly what Dr. Bee made with aqua regia in his lab both at NIH and now at NASA. But it’s Hazelwood’s sharp wit, which he channeled into Bee, that kept me going.
I laughed both to myself and out loud as Bee navigated a mostly human-controlled scientific world with his hysterical euphemisms and inner thoughts. He showed the more human side of the complexity that the respected scientist is working on, so that once I understood the complicated jargon, or at least pretended to understand it, the pages flowed beautifully and I was completely immersed in all things, bee .
Not only have I fallen in love with Bee, but also with his sworn enemy and the man he is currently working with, Levi Ward. She tries really hard to be decent, but Bee is always there to remind her how much she hates her, something that apparently started when they were both in graduate school. I will readily admit the numerous times Levi is interrupted or prevented from explaining why his behavior has made me a little angry. But as the story progresses, the truths are gradually revealed, while a shocked bee gradually softens when it comes to Dr.
The way Levi is actually a big supporter of Bee is completely blown away by his knowledge and the way he solves the problems they have with his project was really sweet. I’m not going to divulge any of the many secrets he kept all these years later, but let’s just say I loved how it all turned out, with Bee finally clearing up all my doubts about Levi and his ex-fiancé Tim’s flaws. To say that Bee’s brain really is being tested over and over again is an understatement. And I’m sure that’s because matters of the heart are slowly creeping into his daily thoughts, something he fights tooth and nail but also secretly treasures.
The side story about Gus and his help getting the prototype helmet to work successfully is a great tangent and definitely helps take Bee and Levi’s chaotic relationship to another level. The misconceptions are clearly the M.O. our partner and as he gets closer to success, let’s just say that things don’t necessarily go according to plan.
Bee’s twin sister, the travel-loving Reike, and her lyrics full of biting yet loving wisdom, her fierce and fierce RA Rocio, combined with the mysterious cat Felicette, create lighter moments and genuine joy for the often-scientist. concerned. . And the whole @WWMD movement certainly adds a new layer to Bee and her secret boyfriend Ella Shmac and everything that is revealed later in the Love On The Brain book.
But without a doubt, it’s the insanely good dialogue and chemistry between Bee and Levi that drives this Love On The Brain and makes this wild ride the wonderful read it was for me. In fact, they could laugh and exchange feathers as if it was a competition while both of them were helpless to completely fall in love with each other. And they both made it so adorable and happy to do it.
I will definitely add Ali Hazelwood to my list of favorite authors, especially when I’m looking for something different and wildly clever. Love on the Brain could be the perfect late summer read as Bee Hazelwood introduces a very sharp and brilliant heroine who could also be any woman trying to juggle her life to the best of her ability. . And with a lot of humor, modesty and a beautiful soul. Thank God, Levi’s heart never had a chance.
I Will Definitely Recommend Love On The Brain.
