The recent installment of Montana’s Resting Warriors Ranch did NOT disappoint. Former Navy SEAL Noah Scott has suffered from PTSD since his time in Afghanistan. Along with his best friends and former SEALS teammates, they have created a sanctuary for those suffering from PTSD, whether it was caused by military action or life itself. Noah is gentle with the various animals on the ranch…he specializes in raising/training alpacas, cats and dogs of all ages.
Kate Tilbeck breaks into the ranch after her younger brother Brandon beats Ben so badly he gets hospitalized. All Kate knows is the piece of paper with Noah’s name and ranch information on it. She drives from Missoula with her figurative weapons loaded, ready to hold Noah and the others accountable.
It’s a lot worse than everyone thought. They break into his apartment and demand that he return the money his brother lost gambling. Noah and his friends are ready and willing to help in any way they can. Brandon has gotten himself into a dogfighting mess that needs to be cleared up. Hard that these warriors are NOT helpful.
Readers of this series and those who love the characters will enjoy meeting the warriors and women they love and love. They befriend Kate and her family when they hug her, as they have with others in the past… friendships that will last forever, that Bonds made and that will not be broken.
