Colleen Hoover (Margaret Colleen Fennell) (born in December 11, year 1979) is an author of young adult fiction and romance.

In January 2012 she published her first novel Slammed. In December 2012, she published Hopeless, which topped the New York Times bestseller list. Many of her works were self-published before being picked up by a publisher.

Hoover was born on December 11, 1979, in Sulfur Springs, Texas, the son of Vannoy Fite and Eddie Fennell. She grew up in the Saltillo, Texas and graduated from the Saltillo High School in year 1998. In 2000 she married Heath Hoover, with whom she has three children. Hoover has a degree in Social Work from Texas A&M-Commerce. She worked in various teaching and social work positions before beginning her writing career.

In November year 2011, Hoover began her first novel, Slammed, with zero intention of publishing it. She was inspired by a songs lyric “decide what to be and go be it” from an Avett Brothers song, and “Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise”. Because of this, she included the Avett Brothers lyrics throughout the story. After a few months, her novel was reviewed by book blogger Maryse Black and she was given a 5-star rating, and sales of her first two books increased rapidly.

Hoover published her first novel, Slammed, in January 2012 and a sequel, Point of Retreat, in February. They reached #8 and #18 on the New York Times bestseller list in August of that year. Atria Books picked them up and re-released them on August 10. A third book in the series, This Girl, was released in April 2013.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before he plans to move abroad. Her premature attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and their busy lives become the creative inspiration Ben always sought for his novel. Over time, and through the various relationships and difficulties of their own separate lives, they continue to meet each year on the same day. Until one day, Fallon isn’t sure if Ben was telling her the truth or is fabricating a perfect reality because of the final twist in the plot.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon and his novel at the same time be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

November 9 Book Pdf Download

November 9 is and will always be one of my favorite Colleen Hoover books. It centers on an aspiring author and a former actor who meet and are instantly attracted to each other. However, Fallon, the former actor, is moving to New York from Los Angeles, so they agree to meet on the same day (November 9) every year.

During their time apart, they should have no contact with each other; no phone, no texting, no social media, even going so far as to block each other. Until they are 23 because Fallon’s mother pointed out that people should live before 23 and not settle until then. So every year when they are apart, they should live their lives as if they are not both looking forward to that one day in the year to see each other. Ben is now able to use his story for a novel and every year it becomes a new segment for his novel.

While he is a writer, she is a reader. She tells him all about romance novels, their tropes, all the good and bad. One of his comments was that romance novels contain fear. This is what makes Colleen’s book so funny and heartbreaking. While Ben claimed he wasn’t; Bringing heartbreak into a relationship was too good, and that’s exactly what happened.

Because every year they met and fell more and more in love with each other. This continued into third year until they both realized how good they were for each other and Ben was ready to call the whole thing off. Fallon also wanted, as much as she wanted to, to honor the deal and make sure she had the full 5 years to decide who and what she wanted. So she went and broke his heart. So the beginning of this torment.

In the fourth year they meet again and there is another big issue in their life that separates them from each other. This brings with it all the sensations of tightening the stomach! The drama continues until next year, but then something separates them for another year.

Their romance is filled with so much sadness and heartbreak that you can’t help but feel something for them. At the same time, I laugh because the book made a lot of arguments for heartbreak being part of a good romance novel, and that’s what this one plays on. This book… you’ll laugh, you’ll cry… it’s everything. ben It’s everything.

Ben and Fallon are one of the cutest couples Colleen has ever created.

Great story, very original – loved it.

I really enjoyed meeting Ben and Fallon. It was cool, fast acting when he first met her at the restaurant.

I also loved Fallon immediately, she may have had the filler removed, but she had guts.

I loved how he came full circle. The view was originally from Fallon’s perspective, not quite right actually, we also got Ben’s view during their November 9th meeting.

They get along really well, they have a connection that we discover how deep it is as we go through their relationship journey.

He’s very encouraging and they both make decisions based on their circumstances with some big consequences.

I loved that we got to know you both, but I wish I had more in your daily life.

The date held so much significance that as the story progresses we learn how they both deal with the evidence that is presented to them every time they meet, how they deal with the consequences.

Ben had a lot of headaches growing up and may have mismanaged some situations, but it made him seem more humble and caring.

The two were really great together. Ben was very loving, understanding, encouraging and if I’m honest they were both a little selfish. Fallon was personable too, maybe a too much thinking bot, older than him. Both concealed the self-pity and gradually helped to alleviate it.

Oh, the twists in the plot, the twists and turns you took along the way in this story, they had my emotions everywhere.

I deliberately took the time to read this and now that I’ve finished I’m glad I did. If I had read it fast enough I might have missed some areas.

Ben has had more deaths than his fair share, and I think he’s stronger because of it, which is very evident when combined with his life-changing encounter with Fallon. His event POV WOW, simply WOW.

This is not just a will of theirs? No? It’s also about the fact that both of you are on the path to self-discovery and acceptance of your destiny.

There were times when he wanted to smack them both on the head and times when he wanted to wrap them both in a hug.

really happy with the ending.
