Like many other readers, I have always been fascinated by World War II and devour many books about that period in a year. This one revolves around Genevieve, a famous singer and darling of the Nazis.

Also known as the Black Swan, she has been secretly helping Max, a British spy, gather information to send to his superiors. She met him in Casablanca and they seemed headed towards a romance until he started manipulating her and using her for information.
