The Protector brings the Norcross series to an end (at least for now) with the story of Camden Morgan and Saskia Hawke.
Cam is the brother of the two previous heroes in the series, while Saskia is the sister of Killian Hawke, who has made several cameo appearances in both this series and the author’s multi-million dollar series – she is Vander Norcross’s New York counterpart.
When dancer Saskia is kidnapped, she turns to Cam for help.
Physically and mentally scarred by his time in Ghost Ops, Cam will do whatever it takes to save the dancer from him.

With the villains on their tail, Saskia and Cam rush in, doing their best to stay alive and bring justice to the ‘bad guy’.
It’s a fun game, lots of action, a bit of romance, and plenty of Norcross cameos to keep all the fans happy. We even get to dig a little deeper into Killian, which is fascinating, and meet the enigmatic Wolfe, who is set to headline the spinoff series with Killian’s gang.
However, the stars of the show are the extremely flexible Saskia (who definitely enjoys this to the fullest) and Cam, who has been through some tough times.

So much of their friendship has happened off the page, so this book is more about acknowledging feelings and making those big decisions.
It is, as I said, action-packed, and that makes for an astonishingly quick read, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat hoping all is well now – Mrs. Hackett does not disappoint by delivering an enjoyable story. .

With suspicions about who is behind their problems and the influence they have, they create difficulties, which are resolved once the truth is revealed, and a happy ending comes for everyone. A fast-paced story, with twists and turns before everything becomes clear.

The last Morgan brother finally falls in love! I’ve been looking forward to Cam’s book for a while and I’m so happy he’s here. I loved every minute of Cam and Saskia’s story. Cam is still struggling to readjust to the civilian life and the suffers from survivor’s guilt. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for any woman, but especially Saskia. I really enjoyed seeing Cam heal up a bit and open up to love.

“I’ll just see the hero, even if he’s a bit battered and dented.”

Saskia is a dedicated dancer. She is determined, strong-willed, and extremely compassionate towards Cam’s struggles. She is a true friend to Cam and allows her to set the pace for their relationship for a long time to come. The kidnapping sped things up and makes them both realize how much they love each other and how quickly it can be taken from them. Saskia was just a wonderful heroine who was the perfect match for Camden.

The relationship of these two was filled with a lot of action, tension and many intense kisses. It was totally the perfect match for me. I’m a little sad that this is the last Norcross staff to fall in love, but it’s been a great ride. I also can’t wait to learn more about Killian and the team at Sentinel Security!
