Best of all, Avery is a cop and the car she’s pulling over is being driven by her new supervisor, Trace Barnes. Trace recognizes the girl in Avery instantly, and Avery worries that if this secret gets out, she’ll lose the respect of the other detectives in her department. I really think she will enjoy this book and the entire Pepper North and Paige Michaels series. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
