Lara Jean’s days as a letter writer come to life in this stunning sequel to the bestselling book To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S. I still love you.

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could wish for. She is madly in love with her boyfriend Peter; her father eventually marries next-door neighbor Mrs. Rothschild; and Margot returns home just in time for the summer wedding.

But changes are on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and busy planning her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big decisions she faces in life.

The most pressing is what college she wants to go to and what that means for her relationship with Peter. He watched his sister Margot go through those growing pains. Now Lara Jean is the one to graduate high school and go to college, leaving behind her family and possibly the boy she loves.

When your heart and your head are saying two different things, what should you listen to?

In Always and Forever Lara Jean, we follow the gang as they begin new chapters in their lives: Dr. Covey’s decision to remarry and the college choices of Lara Jean and Peter. The latter caused quite a stir because everyone, including me, was wondering if Lara Jean would follow her sister Margot’s example and her late mother’s advice in breaking up with Peter before she went to college.

Aside from this important decision, many things happened in this book. There were many fun moments, especially in relation to the senior year celebrations and Dr. Covey’s wedding, but there were also some bumps in the road and a very tragic incident occurred. Although it was a very sad incident, I admired and felt a lot of warmth for Lara Jean’s handling of the matter.

Most importantly, these characters are permanently woven into my heart and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching their growth throughout this journey. This series was an absolute delight to read and I will miss each and every one of the slightly wild characters, from Peter and Lara Jean’s heartbreaking and heartbreaking romance, to Kitty’s smart mouth and witty replies, to the easygoing attitude and spirit of Chris free. lusting after Stormi’s life.

All in all, Always and Forever Lara Jean is the perfect conclusion and conclusion to this amazingly written story and its infectious characters. After reading this book I am filled with so much happiness, warmth and melancholy. This series will always be one of my favorites and a series to turn to when I need something to lift my spirits or a book that epitomizes innocent, all-consuming young love. It’s so stinkingly cute that you can’t help but feel filled with an abundance of warmth, love, joy and nostalgia.

The third and final part of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series begins with a time warp in Lara Jean’s life as she now prepares for her freshman year of college and tries to figure out what the next step is. she wants to take away her and Peter’s relationship.

I’m not a big believer in long-distance relationships, which quickly made me doubt that this relationship wouldn’t make it to the end of the book. Unless you go to the same college, to paraphrase Lara Jean’s mother, “Don’t go to college with a friend.”

The last book was a deeper look at Lara Jean growing up, no longer living in anyone’s shadow, becoming her own person and experiencing things for the first time. With college just around the corner and complications brewing, Lara Jean is now thinking about bringing more intimacy to their relationship considering Peter had a lot of it with Gen and how Jenny did by saying “Always and Forever Lara” wrote. Jean’ was really very important, especially to any boy or girl who might be reading this.

Jenny never writes about sex as taboo or wrong in this book and shows the importance of communicating with your partner about sex and making sure it’s comfortable for both of you because it’s an important part of your life and you are don’t want to use it in a way you’ll regret. In fact, all the characters in the book talk about it quite naturally, from his sisters to Peter to his father. Everyone understands very well that it is time for Lara Jean to have these thoughts and to support her in making the right decisions for her.

The story also focused on the dilemmas that arose regarding Lara Jean’s college options and everything she might have had to sacrifice depending on her final decision. Peter and his family have been incredibly supportive of us during this time, as they always have been, and it was great to see that Peter is also considering making sacrifices to keep their relationship from ending.

Overall, this was another amazing read from Jenny, and it’s safe to say I really dig all of these characters and wish them well. Lara Jean, I have to admit that at times throughout this book I got annoyed about a certain upcoming wedding and just wanted to scream, “IT’S NOT JUST YOU!”. I think that it was good to keep her childlike mindset alive during her time at the university but wow this girl is too organized for her own good at times and may need to improvise from time to time.

I’d like to know what happened next: did Lara Jean and Peter make their relationship work? How does Kitty deal with not having one of her sisters around all the time? Has anything developed in Margot’s relationship? etc. Don’t let us down, Jenny! I’m not ready to say goodbye to this wonderful series.
