Millionaire CEO Max Fletcher is a single father in dire need of a babysitter.

Cozy Barlow is in the middle of her self-proclaimed “gap year” and is doing her best to let go of her past.

But when her sister begs her to introduce her for the job of nanny to a demanding client, she has no reason to say no.

And when Max realizes that the twenty-something in a tie-dye tracksuit has the idea of daydreaming all summer, he prepares to fire that bad babysitter.

One problem: Max’s girl thinks this plus-size babysitter could be her new best friend in body and mind, so she hires her right away.

Now Max is stuck with this weird woman who hates everything he stands for: greed, money, status, power.

But on a stormy night when the power goes out, he discovers that Cozy doesn’t hate him. In fact, he is the protagonist of her fantasies.

Last on the List was an absolute pleasure to read and listen to. Cozy and Max were very entertaining, especially Cozy with her inner thoughts on her own ZADDY!

These two found themselves in a difficult relationship limbo, both shielding themselves from potential heartache, making it a little harder for them to know how they felt about each other. This “limbo” made the sessions highly entertaining, with flirting, banter and insidious kissing.

Author Amy Daws has really outdone herself here, giving the reader a very engaging story with relatable characters who seem made for each other. The hilarious scenes kept coming, bringing smiles and laughter at every turn.

Of course, Max’s daughter Everly must also be mentioned. Wise beyond her years, she definitely has a future in the matchmaking business.

I also chose the Audible version because it was available on release day! I love immersing myself in a story by reading and listening to it. It took me a while to relate Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon to these characters. I don’t think they were the voices I originally envisioned for Max and Cozy, but it didn’t take long for me to sink into their words and get carried away.

This has been a great series and since there are so many other supporting characters, such as those three hulking hillbilly brothers, it might not be the end. Maybe Amy Daws has a few more stories to tell.

I couldn’t put it down and when I finished I slept for a bit and then read it again! I loved this book. As always, being an Amy book I knew the characters and story were going to be amazing, but DAMN she outdid herself with this book.

Max took Zaddy to another level. And let me tell you, I’ll never look at a loose tie the same way ever again. Nothing will stop him when he finds what he is looking for. This single father is devoted to his daughter but allows himself to heal and take his own life to tie-dye.

Oh Cozy, he’s my absolute favorite character since he’s real. She has perfectly normal everyday problems that make her the best kind of heroine. She has baggage, trauma and personality in abundance and is all the better for it. It’s really nice to be able to read a book and have the MC normal. Not only is she a plus-size powerhouse, but she also has hobbies and reads just like us! I’ve read this twice already and kept finding more and more things I love about both of them.

And don’t get me started on Miss Everly, Dakota, or their siblings. Needless to say, I hope they come back with their own books SOON!

The chemistry these two have, my goodness, the sides were sizzling. And we need to discuss the problem? And always have fun learning new technical terms… Zaddy! That changed my view of so many men now. I could go on forever, but instead I’ll just say buy, read and LOVE!

Amy, this is the GOAT!

Fair warning: this book is smoking hot, so I recommend all potential readers read it in an air-conditioned room. Last on the List is just that: the last in the list of books in the Wait with Me series, and it seems that Amy Daws has saved what I consider to be her favorite read for last.

Although this book features guest appearances from the combined characters of Daws’s Boulder Crew, it can also be enjoyed on its own. But hey, why would you do that when you can read the first four books? Wait With Me, Next in Line, One Moment Please and Take a Number. the fullest of some romantic comedies that really tickled my not-so-fancy imagination.

Last on the list is the story of Cassandra Barlow and Max Fletcher. Twenty-six years old, trying to live up to his favorite nickname, Cozy, he has a personal philosophy that basically asks why do more when you can do less. On the other hand, he’s 34 years old, a self-made millionaire and CEO, and most importantly, the father of an 11-year-old girl named Everly.

With Everly staying with him for the summer while his ex-wife is abroad on business, Max knows they will need a live-in nanny. You have expectations, but Cozy was the epitome of the unexpected. But with Everly’s seal of approval, Max has to keep an eye on the new babysitter. His approach may be whimsical, but is it possible that things will fall in love when Max gets cozy in the summer (winks)?

Eyes on me, I mean eyes on this book, romance readers! Amy Daws offers a quirky and funny romance between a nanny and her ward’s father. Cozy certainly made an unforgettable first impression, but Max’s mischievous side definitely surprised me, but in the best way possible. I loved these two together, and the fact that their backstories were quite heartbreaking made it that much easier to understand how they became the people they introduced readers to.

I also loved seeing Everly’s relationship with Max and the kinship she developed with Cozy. Congratulations on getting the Boulder gang together for one last hooray. May I hope Max’s brothers get their own spin-off in the future?

Daws not only made it, he smashed the ceiling in every way imaginable. The swoons, the awkward situations that made me gasp with laughter, the tears of laughter, the heartfelt moments and the Scotch whiskey of heartbreak. It was all at once. it was perfection.

Cozy lives her life in the way that many people don’t understand, but it makes me love her even the more. She was incredible; She radiated compassion and heart. He quickly changed the course of a situation to prevent anyone from feeling sad. When I say her heart shone, I mean it through the pages, because every moment I spent with her in this world made my heart lighten.

Max was the best fictional dad ever, and what’s better than that? Well, I’m telling you, a man who can go from “dazzled single dad” to “p-n sexy AF outfit” to “unlocked new level of kink” is basically the perfect textbook boyfriend. In fact, I licked it. He’s mine.

The tension between Max and Cozy is immediate, as is the bond they share. With a few sneaky looks it becomes explosive. As they got closer, it got more than just physical; he came to consume everything up to the nth degree. The connection they had was without ever making a conscious choice. They seemed like polar opposites, but it was their differences that made them the perfect couple. It was like a piece of her soul was missing until they met. I really don’t do justice to what they shared.

Cozy’s instant connection to Everly was just as important as any other aspect of the story. They fell into this effortless friendship that made me to smile. I laughed with them. I fell in love with the dynamic of this family and felt that Cozy should be hers.

I can’t even begin to describe the emotions these characters and their story evoked in me; these weren’t “surface” emotions, but emotions he felt deep inside. Max felt unparalleled affection and admiration for his daughter. It would, without a doubt, win the Best Fictional Father award. My heart was so overwhelmed by the righteous emotions engulfing my eyes that tears began to flow. But not everything is sun, laughter and tie-dye. Our past can sometimes interfere with our present and our ability to let go of it, preventing us from understanding our future.

The last on the list is far from the last on any of my book lists. A few words were enough and reality disappeared and I was completely immersed in this world. A fantastically intoxicating combination of fiery chemistry, a passed out single dad, a #BossB heroine, endlessly entertaining hilarious banter, a sweet girl who steals the show, heartfelt emotions that bleed through every word, endless laughter and smiles throughout Moment. Oh, by far the hottest Daws book, the Kindles are on fire all over the world to catch. Bet.
