It’s not a sequel to Drive. Reverse is next second generation of the main characters Stella, Reid and Nate. Their children. It’s a long book, but I didn’t feel like reading it. I was blown away and inhaled on this book.

Natalie and Easton became my obsession. They look so much like their parents and shine so brightly for themselves again.
Meeting Easton changes everything for Natalie. She visits him for unanswered questions that only lead her to meet a man who evokes emotions she’s never encountered before, and the same goes for Easton. Along with a friendship, a strong and unbreakable bond is formed.
The aftermath of meeting Easton keeps Natalie from moving on, but he’s not one to concede defeat and just give up and move on.

I fell madly in love with Easton. So honest and expressive about who he is and what he wants. A gifted prodigy when it comes to the music. His wishes are music and Natalie.
Natalie is a talented journalist and she has her father to thank for that. Her relationship with Nate is truly special and the bond the two share proves that she is a daddy girl. Both equally stubborn.

The consequences of their secret love and deception were heartbreaking. Kate Stewart played that pain beautifully and authentically. Broke Me Reverse is a rock star romance with just the right amount of steam and angst. It was the perfect roller coaster of emotions.
Reverse is a multifaceted story, and it’s not just because of Natalie and Easton. This story is so much more. It’s not just a love story. No, they’re diverse and it’s quite an achievement to weave all of these characters into one story, but Stewart nailed it perfectly. If you’ve been looking for answers since Drive ended, you’ll get them and more.

What Stewart has achieved with Reverse is nothing short of spectacular.

THE EMOTIONS !!!! The #1 reason I read romance novels. You evoke so many emotions. The characters grab you, I find myself going through everything with them. I fall in love with them, I suffer with them. I grow with them.

No other genre of books does that to me, no other genre makes me fall in love over and over again. Opening a new romance novel is like a shot of adrenaline. My pupils dilate, my heart races and I’m on a new adventure. One that makes me experience many emotions, anger, sadness, joy, happiness, fear, etc.

From time to time I read a book that settles in the depths of my soul. In year 2017, this book was Kate Stewart’s Drive. I immersed myself in this story for a whole day. It’s my holy grail of romance and has remained so ever since. This book attracted me for many reasons. One of the biggest was how music was integrated into the story. I grew up in a musical home, songs have meaning to me, they often remind me of a time in my life, they remind me of a feeling or event that happened. If you have read this book you will know how important music is to the story.

Five years later, Kate wrote a sequel to Drive. One who has sworn never to write. Luckily she lied because I was transported once again. At every opportunity I got, I escaped the real world and dove headfirst into what would become my second holy grail book.

I’m no crybaby, but Kate Stewart made me cry constantly. The overwhelming emotions in my body reacted instinctively. At the beginning of each chapter, I pressed play and realized I was living someone else’s life. I fell in love, irrevocably in love. I felt fear and anger. I felt helpless and hopeful. I felt exhausted and excited. I FELT EVERYTHING.

When life gets too much and I’m feeling a little numb, I escape to a book. One that makes me feel One that will remind me that I’m still alive. My favorite shot of adrenaline. Reverse is one of those books, an adrenaline rush that gave me all kinds of emotions.

This is absolutely the BEST thing I’ve read this year. The opposite is all I want in a book. All the fear, excitement, steam and romance. It was absolutely perfect for me.

If you’ve read Drive, you know all about Crowne and Butlers. If you haven’t read Drive yet, I encourage you to stop reading this review and pick up this epic book. Reverse is a second generation book and trust me when I say it will mean the world to those of us who have read and loved Drive.

Natalie Butler and Easton Crowne both meet in a very interesting way. It starts with some emails, then some sort of interview. They become friends, but there’s so much more to it than that. None of them have ever met another person who makes their souls sing like that. They should be predestined. But it’s complicated with her family history.

Natalie is a journalist, like father like daughter… and Easton is on the verge of something big. He’s even more talented than his father if you can believe it. You are both on a great path, but walking this path together comes with many challenges and difficulties.

When I tell you that this book will test you, I mean it. It was one of the most romantic books I’ve ever read, with a hero like no other. But the agony. When I tell you that I cried because of this agony, I mean it. He was so upset that I cried. But these are the best books. The ones that really make you feel. This story brought all these feelings to me.

Kate’s writing style is mesmerizing and this story kept me hooked the entire time. It was a long book, but it didn’t feel long to me. Easton Crowne is everything and so romantic. It’s such a special story to me and I know I’ll be reading it again for years to come. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this!

There were other stories besides the story of Easton and Natalie. Lexi. ben benji Damon. holly. Characters who played an important role even though they weren’t the center of attention.

Reverse drew me in from
Page one and let me read to the end. I knew it was a long book, but I constantly worried that I would finish it before I was done. It was a story I didn’t know needed to be told until I read it. There are so many things I want to say but I’m afraid to say more it will become spoilers.

Backtracking is worth your time. Make sure you read Drive first. I was even able to cast Method before Reverse afterwards. Sometimes small mentions in another book offer a glimpse into another.
