Holly and Stella are twin sisters, but Holly is the more reserved of the two who enjoys reading and baking at parties and playing sports. It is told solely from Holly’s point of view, which should make some of Teddy’s actions more confusing. But since it’s an open book of sorts, Holly usually reads it well; it’s just that you don’t trust your interpretation. She is quite insecure and lacks self-confidence. It bothered me because she had relationships before and came to the base of operations with them, so she should have had some experience with men. But he’s a mess when he talks to Teddy. It seemed like the author wanted Holly to have this trait but for some reason refused to make her a virgin, which I think caused some inconsistencies.

Teddy is a kind of gentle giant. They’ve had some interactions before, especially earlier Christmases, so they know each other. He made interesting scenes. They already have obvious feelings for each other, but they use their time together to get more intimate, to show each other that they remember things because they’re interested, and to share some cute, sexy Christmas-themed moments.
