Many wonderful cameos for fans of all the Fallen Crest and Rousseau books. The entire crowd plays an important role in helping Zeke and Ava find their happiness forever and become Azeke. I couldn’t get enough of this story, I’m sad it’s ending but I’m so happy I went on the journey with you.

I was so happy that Tijan wrote a novel for Zeke & Ava, I didn’t expect these two characters to fit together. However, they said the opposite is what attracts both Zeke and Ava and is definitely true. Here we have a calm, sweet, kind, hard-working Ava who is unaware/knowing of the people around her. She works hard to make ends meet, while Zeke is the complete opposite. He comes from a wealthy family, a frat boy, a party animal, funny and popular.

This novel gives you some background information about Zeke and how his life changed due to the special circumstances. The events in his life made him the person he is today. Zeke has become one of my favorite characters on my list. We also learn more about Ava’s background and the hardships she endured during her high school days and to date. Everything has changed for both of them now that Zeke has come into their lives.

My favorite thing about reading a Tijan book is falling in love with the characters. Ava isn’t the egg-breaking, responsible woman I’ve often seen in the books, instead she has a quiet strength that really draws me in and inspires me. I loved watching her blossom as her relationship with Zeke grew and she realized how many people in her life cared for her.

With Zeke, Tijan has created another outstanding book lover. Good-natured when unprovoked, Zeke embodied the supportive partner I’ve always dreamed of, and the little glimpses of his bromance with Blaise added to his appeal. I felt the pacing of the story worked well and I appreciated how quickly their relationship started in the story and how internal and external conflicts came into play. I can already say that I will revisit this story many times.

Aveke is everything! I can’t say enough about how much I loved getting back into the Fallen Crest/Roussou universe! We’ve seen Ava and Zeke before, but I loved being able to read their story. Ava has always existed, but she never feels seen. Zeke then goes to the bar where she works and can’t figure it out, plus he seems like a different guy than he was in high school. Life then throws Ava a big curveball, spinning her in the head and straight into Zeke.

Zeke has always been the guy who seems to know everyone and gets involved in all sorts of scenarios. Whenever he has a moment with Ava, he takes advantage of it. As Ava and Zeke get back together, their bond seems to grow stronger. I really enjoyed getting lost in his story. We see appearances from a handful of your favorite characters in these worlds, adding in the drama and dirty tricks that seem to follow these characters that will captivate you and devour the story to see what is about to happen.

Then add the crazy chemistry Ava and Zeke have that will burn the pages and Zeke being Zeke will win your heart and melt you with his simple way of living life and saying Ava exactly , how it is. Gah, I loved that novel and those two definitely made an impact on me. Don’t miss this novel!
