Megan lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her aunt. She is hardworking, determined, loyal, attractive and has a great personality but she is also not trusting in relationships. Between losing her parents at such a young age and fucking her college boyfriend after 6 years, it’s not what she wants to believe in the long run.

Meeting up, having an affair, and then finding out they were going to work together was a surprise to both of them! They were both intrigued by each other after their one night out, but didn’t think anything would come of it until they started working together every day and really got to know each other. They each see the good in the other as they develop a friendship and get to know each other more deeply.

Their witty banter and hard work ethic helped them develop a strong friendship, while their attraction continued to simmer despite trying to resist each other. I loved the chemistry between Luke and Megan. You could really feel that. Megan does her best to focus on work and puts herself first after taking a backseat to her ex-boyfriend. Since this was a huge regret for her, she’s focused on her career and her future, but Luke is making it hard for her! ?

I LOVE meeting previous couples and getting suggestions on where new stories could come from. I also love that Reese is finally on the mend and that Grandma has a boyfriend! And Luke wants to surprise Paisley by building her a tree house for her birthday? Faint! I love family and family dynamics and can’t wait for the next story!
