My name is Diamond D. Johnson and I am an urban fiction author of five years, with over 70 books to my credit. I was born and raised in tropical Miami, Florida, and reading and writing have always been one of my greatest passions. Some of my favorite authors are Erick S. Gray, Shavon Moore, Wahida Clark, and Nika Michelle. One of my favorite things to say is that the “Wahida Clark walked so I could run” and I say that because it was because I picked up a book of hers and was inspired to write a book of her own.

Before writing became my full-time job, I was attending school full-time, pursuing a degree in education, working part-time at Publix supermarkets, and reading at least ten books every month. I knew that one day I wanted to write a book on my own, but for me, I just didn’t know where to start. This was one of those things where I had to do it! I’ve done a lot of research and nothing really prepares you and there will never be a guide that shows you the right way to write your first book. Talent is deep within you and it’s just a matter of you finding that talent and being brave enough to show your creativity to the world.

For me, writing just started out as something to do in my spare time. There was a solid outlet for me to write a book, simply because I knew I had the talent and because I would spend countless hours reading other authors’ crafts, so it was time I put my talents to work. Never in a million years did I think that I would have written more than 70 books and that writing would be my career.

I wouldn’t trade this for the world because when I wake up every morning, I’m happy to know that I have a career doing something I enjoy, even though this is a very demanding career. In my free time, when I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the mall, especially shopping for my daughter because I love fashion, and I also enjoy watching movies.

The non-stop drama, deaths and heartbreak have left Mia believing that a dark cloud is hanging over her family. For months she feared that something terrible would happen to Mehki. She could feel it in her spirit, so she held him a little tighter at night, she kissed him a little more and let him know that she loved him a little more. She never in a million years would have thought that, in the worst case, she would be shot multiple times. With all the drama, heartbreak and pain that Ella Mia has endured in the last years of her life, will she finally be able to find the peace she longs for if she doesn’t survive?

Next is Saint and Loyal. This couple is also a fan favorite, but they faced so many obstacles just a few months before their wedding. Are these complications signs that the two should not get married? The secret that Saint had to find out about Loyal put him in a situation where it’s hard to trust her and without trust they have nothing of her.

This book was everything! Finally, finally one woman fought back and found herself in a heartbreaking situation. Mia realized that she had put herself in a position that gave Mekhi a pass to mistreat her. But when she started looking inside, she realized that she had opened the door. Her brilliance was powerful and I loved every part of reading this book. Especially being able to see the lives of all the tiger characters she loved! Thank you and well done!

I liked how the series ended. I liked both Mia and Beatz in this series. I’m glad you have your HEA. There were times in this book where author Diamond got names mixed up, along with some grammatical errors. While the mistakes haven’t affected the plot, he may want to make sure the editing is correct before publishing the stories. Errors become more and more common in the writing of it. She can tell a good story that she will keep you in suspense. But I think she can change the formula of it and tell different stories. She is such a good writer. Good series overall!

What a beautiful ending to a hot series! It all ended very well with everyone excited about the possibilities for other characters. Diamond Johnson is my favorite for a reason! The characters often put up with things that are so relatable and it’s a joy to read the talented way the story unfolds! It’s really bittersweet because the series was so good that I didn’t want it to end.

I knew Mia would be fine! She and Beatz had been through too much for him to lose her. That was very emotional! Saint and Loyal also rekindled their relationship. His punishment was a bit extreme, but he has a right to be angry. Cassandra’s past caught up with her and almost caused her to lose her child. Her past of hers was too much for Aaron and he let her go! Maybe he can one day fix things with her sisters. Myesha and Tommy got their karma for playing the face of his wife! This was a great ending to this series! Well done!
